Add API call to refresh index fields:

We periodically have to go into Kibana and click the refresh button to rebuild the list of fields. We'd like to automate this a bit and discovered there's no API call to do this.

+1 for this. Talked with a customer yesterday who is manually refreshing 100+ per week. I can provide further details and contact info, if necessary.

Field list is no longer cached but loaded fresh every time the index pattern is loaded - on page load or when a kibana app is loaded. #82223
