Is there any additional information available on plans for the Alerting app?

From the @elastic/stack-monitoring side, it would be helpful to know on a high level the types of concerns that the application will handle. For example, it would be great to know if the planned application will:

  • Allow a user to CRUD Actions?
  • Allow a user to CRUD Alerts? (Specifically whether they can view and adjust an alert's threshold, i.e. the parameters that the executor would take.)
  • Enable/disable Alerts?

I know this sort of information might be available right now but it never hurts to ask. It's helpful for. us as we try to reason about what sorts of interfaces we will need to expose in Stack Monitoring :)

@cachedout yes to all three bullets. We are planning to build both an API and a UI for those three features for the 7.5 release.

@bmcconaghy Great! If there is any further discussion on what will (or won't) be in that UI outside of this issue, I'd love a GH ping. Thanks again!
