Hi, it is often the case that the X( and y) axis labels get cramped. (in this example i am using log scale)
Sure one can use less data points, but sometimes (e.g. lines etc) one simply wants less labels (E.g. one every 2-5-10 x bins.

I agree, the labels should not overlap here.

If log scale could do it like square root scale, that'd be sweet. Currently, y axis log scale labels can get pretty crowded:

After a year this thing still happens with logarithmic scale in the latest 4.x Kibana and even 5.x. Please fix this

partially fixed by #9044 ... labels wont overlap, however its still not looking perfect
