To enrich information about log data, you can supplement it during ingest or in log dash. This information has the up-to-dateness of the submitting time and requires additional storage space.

Feature Request:
In Kibana, real-time information from other databases can be retrieved when the mouse over a field for a few seconds.

The contents of the field should be passed as a parameter. This should be configurable in the index patterns for individual fields.

Closing this because it's not planned to be resolved in the foreseeable future. It will be tracked in our Icebox and will be re-opened if our priorities change. Feel free to re-open if you think it should be melted sooner.
