In Kibana 4 beta 2 discover page, the timestamp of data is shown without a timezone. Kibana 3 used to add "z" to the time to indicate UTC. I'm eternally confused whether time is local or UTC, so explicitly displaying it is useful.

We chose not to add the timezone by default however you can do it yourself from Settings -> Advanced. Note the addition of the 'Z' to the end of the date formatter:
