'31th' text displays instead of '31st'

Describe the bug: In a lens that shows months on the x-axis, Jan 31st is displayed at Jan 31th

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a bar vertical stack lens
2. for x-axis use a date field
3. customize time interval to one week

Expected behavior:
Jan 31st should appear not Jan 31th

cc @markov00 this doesn't happen all the time. For example:
Check here the 21th

and the same chart for a smaller timespan, displays the label correctly (21st of March)

we are using v8.0.1, we are hosted on Elastic cloud.
