Since 7.16, a _meta field can be added to a transform configuration. This will mainly be used for transforms managed by Fleet.
A managed property in the _meta field _meta.managed: true will be used to indicate that the transform has been deployed and managed by elastic and will likely have important dependencies. To warn users that that a transform is 'managed' and that they should avoid changing, a 'managed' badge should be added next to the transform ID in the management page, similar to how it is done for index patterns:
