when running _nodes?plugin=true it would be great to be able to get the version of the installed plugins

Right. I first thought about it (see commit dadoonet@5911457 ) but it introduced a breakable backward compatibility. That's the reason we did not merge it.
I'm not sure if we want to push it to master (1.0 version). cc @kimchy
