While using API keys to configure remote clusters is now possible thanks to #8089, the generated keys are not rotated automatically.
The user can still rotate the key manually by following these instructions, but we may want to allow the user to set an expiration time as it is allowed by API.
We should discuss if we want to implement this enhancement, and also understand if we can do that without without downtime.
