The getting started guides for each Beat contain details about setting up assets (like the Beats dashboards and index template), but we don't provide any additional info about how to work with the assets if users want to customize them. The Beats reference guides should contain more guidance on things like customizing and sharing the dashboards, customizing the index template, and so on.
