The heat maps are easy to understand, but I'd love an info page on the circle maps, and how the regions work. It looks like we've got regions done by state/county? But it doesn't really say anywhere.

The circles just visualize the number of records in different geospatial facets (arbitrary spatial tiles at different levels of spatial resolution).

Reading over these issues, I think it would be good to come up with a help, "how-to" section that explains what is going on.
