App renders blank on Internet Explorer 11 for mobile

Some React apps seem to do this, but most don't. I'm not sure the cause.

E.g. https://react.rocks/ itself, plus the movies, resume, soundcloud, and colorflood all at least load OK. The tinysynth and lead form do not. (Tinysynth shows only the "fork me on github" graphic, lead form is blank just like monkey-client.)

I've tried pinch-zooming all the way out, there's just nothing to be seen.

BTW upgrading material-ui and the tap plugin, or restricting the react version--neither of these helps this issue.

Neither does making sure your host is set to your IP address in the config.
