Constraint validation of base models

I have a model that is inherited from another model, and there are validation constraints on a field in the base model. The 'validation' endpoint works as expected (i.e. if the value of the field breaks the constraints, an error report is returned). However, when I call the 'validation/constraints' endpoint, only the validation constraints on the inherited model are returned, and not the constraints on the base model. Is this intended? If so, how do I retrieve the constraints on the base model? Thanks!

Hey @awillemsen(awillemsen),
Yes, right now the validation/constraints endpoint only returns the constraints for the data types of the current model. What you could do to retrieve the constraints of the parent model is to call the validation/constraints endpoint on an empty instance of the parent model. This should return all of the constraints from the parent model.

Thanks for your replies :-) I will raise an issue as soon as I can. I would like to add that the base model is abstract.
