There are many ways to contribute to an open source project. Many people start with submitting bugs, but you can also give back by promoting Che and improving documentation.
- Check if the bug is already known.
- If it's known and you have additional information or logs that will help add those to the bug.
- If it's not known file the bug. Please add all the requested information from the issue template...it helps speed resolution.
- Check if the enhancement already exists.
- If it's known you can watch it or add additional helpful information.
- If it's unknown, please file the issue.
- Please browse the repo for known bugs that can be resolved.
- Some areas we would love community help with:
- Adding new stacks.
- Adding new code samples for existing stacks.
- Adding a new language server using the language server protocol (which is an open standard that is compatible with Che).
- Let other people know that your application is built on Eclipse.
- Tweet your project at us with #MadeWithChe
- If you would like your project featured on the Che site send an email to the che-dev mailing list.
- Present Eclipse Che at agile, developer, and DevOps conferences. Email the che-dev mailing list for free swag to take to the event.
Contact the project developers via the project's "dev" list.
This project uses GitHub to track ongoing development and issues.
