• @betamaxbandit is intending to work on CMake for CDT 12.0.0. He will prepare a list of improvements and share via a CDT issue.
• @jld01 discussed progress with AsciiDoc generation (Add AsciiDoc build infrastructure #862). Need confirmation from @jonahgraham that the licensing of imported CSS definitions is acceptable. @betamaxbandit may be able to assist with Core Build documentation.
• Some discussion on differences between core build makefile projects and original CDT makefile projects.
• Discussion on Migrate ToggleInstructionStepModeAction to ToggleInstructionStepModeCommand. #866 - need to split the preference mechanism change from this commit - preference modernization is welcome if we can preserve the ability to add a listener since this is part of the public API (action @ruspl-afed to feedback to originator)
• Need a ticket for an unrelated test failure (action @Torbjorn-Svensson) - done org.eclipse.cdt.tests.dsf.gdb.tests.nonstop.StepIntoSelectionNonStopTest fails on CI #886
• Some discussion on cmake not found #878 - @betamaxbandit will suggest some improvements - discussion on toolchain management - automatic detection of LLVM (clang) toolchains for core build would be useful for new users - a mechanism that allows ISVs to place their own toolchain on the build path would also be useful.
