NEPT-[ticket_number]: [commit_description]
The commit description cannot be longer than 100 characters! This allows the message to be easier to read on GitHub as well as in various git tools.
If the commit reverts a previous commit, it should begin with revert:
, followed by the reverted commit.
The description contains succinct description of the change and should follow the following rules:
- Use the imperative, present tense: "change" not "changed" nor "changes"
- Capitalise first letter
- No dot (.) at the end of the sentence
nept-[ticket_number]-[base_branch]-[additional_information]
The base branch and the additional information are not mandatory.
