Currently when processing multiple files in one day, the OAI Toolkit logs are appended (results from multiple processing runs are in the same set of logs). The next days processing would rename the prior day's logs with a date stamp only for archival purposes.
This request is really just an extension of the current archival process. The request is that each processing run result in separate logs (toolkit, lib log, lib convert, programmer) with date and timestamps added to the log names. This will make debugging the initial bulk of records much easier to work with, and should have little impact on the "production state" running, which will likely only have daily processing.
