Mitard means "Missing Talend Roadside Documentation", a generated documentation which should help understanding a Talend project and shows best-practices and violations.

Mitard, in french, is the place where the punished prisonners are sent. A little like where punished coders are sent ? After all, if you cannot code with talent, you have to code it with talend. Hopeless. Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better. And maybe there is a little light shining more and more at the end of the corridor, the hope to make it better, to measure it, and to make it work.
