# Pedro's Story {#pedro}

Meet Pedro Marques Sousa, see figure \@ref(fig:pedro-fig). He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics in 2023 when this episode was first recorded. Pedro worked at Nomura, Amazon Web Services and a tech startup in Tokyo: [recursiveai.co.jp](https://recursiveai.co.jp/en/).
