Apologies if this is not the right forum to post a question regarding the usage of this resource. If that is the case, please disregard.

My question is though the idea behind this resource. Was this intended to be used only to reboot the resource when another resource requests it? Or is this intended to reboot regardless for the reason for the reboot?

Thanks for your time and assistance!

It's the correct forum. Issues are both for questions, issues and feature requests. Regarding your question. Please read https://github.com/PowerShell/xPendingReboot#description.

I see that the descriptions in the resource parameters isn't very descriptive in the README.md of the xPedningReboot resource. They are more so in the read-only properties of the schema.mof.

This should be resolved. I change this issue to track this change, to make the descriptions more descriptive in the README.md.

Hope it answered your question.
