Switch to installing GitVersion using 'dotnet too install'. The GitVersion extension for Azure DevOps was deprecated. There is a new extension called GitTools but to use the extension it must be installed in every Azure DevOps organization where the pipeline should be run. Meaning all contributors must install it in their personal Azure DevOps organization for them to run the pipeline. Using dotnet tool install will solve this and keeping all functionality.
