bug: Tab in tab bar loses history

In testing ionic I have come across instances where tabs will lose their history state for no apparent reason. I have found a reproducible test case that you can try to see the bug:

Tap "About"

Tap "Tabs Nav Stack" -- note the "About" tab now shows the image of the tabs hierarchy.

Tap "Home"

Tap "Contact"

Tap "About" -- you will notice that the tab has lost its history for no reason, and no longer displays the image of of the tabs hierarchy.

The bug is reproducible every time when starting with a fresh page and the above steps. If you try it a couple more times without refreshing the page, the bug goes away for awhile.
