It seems since chef 12 that many cookbooks using service factory have a similar error.

ERROR: consul_alerts[consul-alerts] (consul-cluster::default line 28) had an error: ArgumentError: service_factory[consul-alerts] (/var/chef/cache/cookbooks /consul_alerts/providers/default.rb line 106) had an error: ArgumentError: service_factory_provider[consul-alerts] (/var/chef/cache/cookbooks/service_factory/providers/default.rb line 42) had an error: ArgumentError: wrong number of arguments (0 for 1)
