There are a couple of API improvements that we are tracking for 1.2 to enable more performant analyzers:

Expose metadata to mark analyzers for concurrent execution (Expose metadata to mark analyzers for concurrent execution #6737)
Add support for sharing state across analyzer instances (Add support for sharing state across analyzer instances #6324)
