Nicole: Emails will be sent to all groups with the following message:

We’re writing to inform you that your group is being considered inactive due to a lack of activity. As of today, no events have been held before or are scheduled to take place within the year of 2024. Please be aware that your group will lose its pro sponsorship under the .NET Foundation on October 1, 2024, and will be removed from our network at that time. After that date, Meetup will reach out directly to any groups on how they can remain active with direct payment.

TO BECOME ACTIVE: Any group that schedules an event to take place in the next 60 days (Before November 10th) would be removed from this quarterly action. Thank you for your understanding. Please direct any responses to [email protected] with the subject: Meetup

Planned: New data pull on 10/1 of Meetup Activity and will remove the groups from the network on that date. The next date for the inactive groups be in December
