growlight ========= Sprezzatech's system installation application. http://www.sprezzatech.com/research.html http://nick-black.com/dankwiki/index.php/Growlight Donate via Pledgie: http://www.pledgie.com/campaigns/18116 Dependencies: - libudev (tested with Debian's 175-3.1) - libblkid (tested with Debian's 2.20.1-5) - libpci (tested with Debian's 3.1.9-3) - libpciaccess (tested with Debian's 0.13.1-2) - libdevmapper (tested with Debian's 1.02.74) - libatasmart (tested with Debian's 0.19-1) - OpenSSL (tested with Debian's 1.0.1) - mkswap(8) from util-linux - badblocks(8), mkfs.ext4(8), mkfs.ext3(8), mkfs.ext2(8) from e2fsprogs Kernel options: - CONFIG_DM_CRYPT (for device mapper encrypt aka LUKS) - CONFIG_MD_RAID* (for MDRAID) - CONFIG_MSDOS_PARTITION (for msdos partition tables) - CONFIG_EFI_PARTITION (for GPT partition tables) ... almost certainly more Build-only dependencies: - xsltproc (tested with 20800/10126/815) - autotools (tested with 1.11) Building from a git checkout: - autoreconf -sfi -Wall,error - continue from "Building from a tarball" Building from a tarball: - ./configure && make && sudo make install ===Using it=== See the man page. ===ZFS Support=== This is tricky, and not recommended unless you want to experiment. You'll need installed SPL/ZFS libraries. You'll be using the include files from the checkout, since by default using the SPL headers hides the real system headers. Unfortunately, the headers I've copied into libzfs/ in the checkout quite likely don't match yours. Have fun! ./configure --enable-zfs --with-zfs-include=`pwd`/libzfs
