Hi Donmor,

I can see you've committed some new changes to master since the last release of Tiddloid Lite.

However, the latest release (apk available) is still from 2019 (version 1.1.4).

Would you be able to share the release timeframe for the newest version of the app (downloadable as an apk from github)?

Thank you.

I'm still testing the app in case of unexpected bugs. Here you can get a latest debug package as an early access.

Thank you for sharing the early release.

It looks good, however:

  1. When opening a password-protected TiddlyWiki I'm shown the red js error screen ("well, it's embarassing") whereas this never happened in the stable release 1.1.4. (I can still dismiss the dialog but it's annoying).
  2. Your release notes read "Now supports changing theme color to adapt to the page, or hiding toolbar on page loaded (configure inside each wiki)." — I cannot see any option to manipulate these settings in Tiddloid Lite. Can you advise where in the TW itself this could be adjusted? (Is the TW core somehow talking to Tiddloid?)
  3. Audio html tag with the autoplay parameter does not work — audio does not autoplay on opening the tiddler that has the tag (same as in stable Tiddloid Lite 1.1.4), but in Chrome it does work <audio autoplay/>

Can you please have a look?

Many thanks for your work.

I can't reproduce this. what version of webview and TiddlyWiki did you use? Reproduced the error and fixed it.

Can be found in latest Readme.md.

Problem has been located. Working in progress. Solved.

Hi Donmor,

I can confirm all issues fixed / working well.

I will report back if I see any other issues, though it's unlikely at this stage. The release candidate looks robust enough, just my two cents.

Fantastic work, thank you.

One last question (I know it's been raised before), do you plan to publish the app in the Google Play Store? I can see that the release candidate has a button to rate the app that links to a non-existing Play Store location. Being able to install Tiddloid Lite from the Play Store would be great for many reasons, like for instance using Tiddloid Lite on Chromebooks, which don't allow app installs from unknown sources.

Thanks.

Actually I'm planning to publish the apps to F-Droid or other markets that is free of charge. By now It had been published to a market called CoolApk in China.

Sounds good, thanks.

When do you plan to release this (to Github, F-Droid or elsewhere) as the next stable version?Any timeframe yet? (Perhaps the TiddlyWiki Google Group would be a good place to request further testing, if you think that further testing is still required).

I'm using this release candidate as my daily driver anyway, no further issues so far.

Thanks in advance!
