If RealURL produces numeric segments (http://example.com/78/ instead of http://example.com/path/to/page/), it means that you are accessing your TYPO3 site with a domain that is not configured with RealURL. RealURL is clever enough to figure out what configuration it should use and usually this problem does not happen with version 2.x (it was common for 1.x). However if you hit this problem, make sure that you have all your domains as either RealURL configuration entries or as domain records in TYPO3.
