Can't configure plugin over HTTPS #54

Don't use Disqus. It seems like @ryanvalentin keeps promising that a fix is coming, but nothing. There are numerous issues here: And many others. @ryanvalentin, are you really working on this? Or making promises but not delivering? I told my friend to delete Disqus on her website because of this. I am pretty proficient in computers but I don't want to be fooling around with configuration files on her WordPress setup and her site doesn't load. If you need details: here's her WordPress install: Host: 1&1 Internet Linux cloud server running Debian 9 |
The only solution is to use 2.86 of the WordPress plugin, unfortunately. https://github.com/disqus/disqus-wordpress/releases/tag/2.86 It's sad that a newer version broke functionality crucial to many WordPress users, https. |

I'm using Hostinger servers, with Let's Encrypt SSL installed, and I'm not able to configure the plugin over HTTPS. The HTTP works well, but it doesn't sync.
Wordpress version: 4.9.6-pt_BR
Disqus Plugin version: 3.0.16
