is it possible to toggle the cutting pane - but keep the mesh slice #8

I want to toggle (off) the cutting pane, so that it does not obscure the mesh slice.
As far as I can tell I need to move the cutting pane back, so that I can see the mesh better.

its not really an issue when you get used to it,
because you can move to another part of the tree and the pane disappears
