A basic GraphiQL project that fronts the graphql-pokemon
project's GraphQL API.
Follow these instructions to build and serve the program:
- Install the dependencies
-
npm install
-
- Serve the content (and build continuously)
-
npm start
-
- Open the browser
- Open http://[::1]:8080
- Click around the UI and iterate!
General clean ups, todos and things I wish to implement for this project:
- DONE How can I bundle/copy the external GraphiQL CSS? I don't want to version control the GraphiQL CSS. Alternatively, what if I include all of GrahipQL and its dependencies as normal script tags? Can I just bundle my source? It's annoying to do the dependency research manually but once I do it, it's done and npm won't complain about peer deps plus npm install and npm start will be faster (less steps). UPDATE: no, it's hard to use React using modern browser standards because React isn't distributed as an ES module (even though it doesn't have dependencies, so I don't get what the hold up is?)
