When I give students a new deadline and comment "2. forsøk", the text displayed ends up being "1. forsøk".
The same happens when I try to edit the comment.

It's caused by the WYSIWYG text rendering (issue #994). It's not easily fixed, but should be solved by switching to a comment editor that is better suited for math (LaTeX) and programming (issue #1040).
I'm going to close your issue since the problem is covered by issue #994.
