Supported NPM versions doesn't list v8, despite v8 being used in the code #4936

https://docs.github.com/en/code-security/dependabot/dependabot-version-updates/about-dependabot-version-updates lists the supported NPM versions as v6/v7... conspicuously absent is v8.

However, support for v8 has already been added to Dependabot in #4763.
