Description

Before we can begin building components in Figma we need to create the foundations of the design library. We will need to add the following foundations:

  • Color
  • Typography
  • Icons
  • Spacing
  • Grids

Details

VA Colors
Ticket for Generating Figma Token file

Tasks

  • Import VA colors into Figma
  • Import USWDS colors into Figma
  • Create a Variable primitive collection for colors
  • Add colors to to collection
  • Create Token collection for colors
  • Link token colors to primitive colors

Acceptance Criteria

  • [ ]Reviewed by PO

Work on this might carry over. Ticket 2069 was added to unblock this. It should get done in sprint 35 but it is unplanned work.

The colors will need updating in the future, but the foundation is complete.
