Standalone Vaults

Goal

Support activating Dendron features without being in a workspace.

Context

Dendron currently requires a dedicated VSCode workspace in order to work. This is inconvenient for the following cases:

• user has an existing project and doesn't want to open another workspace
• user has an existing project and wants to use dendron on docs in existing workspace
• user wants to use dendron functionality (eg. insert note) in non-dendron files

@kevinslin - think we should re-purpose to be "Standalone Vaults" or is that a bigger issue? Feels like making the dendron workspace file configurable would be a good first step but maybe there's other items that are needed to make Standalone vaults happen?

I have the feeling It would be better to just check if dendron.rootDir is set inside of the Workspace file to check if dendron needs to be activated.
I think this would be better instead of providing a config value that tells dendron how the workspace file is named.

Curious....any movement on this feature? Or plans to continue?

Specifically interested in the ability to use dendron in any workspace.
