cogDisplayHref is very slow

When I add a cognostic that's a trelliscope link to a cognostics function using cogDisplayHref it slows down the computation of the cognostics function significantly. My (limited) tests showed a slow down by a factor of 10 (between the function with the cogDisplayHref and without). It would be useful to look into why that's happening and see if it could be sped up.

At the very least I wanted to document for other users that this is an issue and if makeDisplay seems to be taking an extremely long time, removing those calls from the cognostics function could help.
