I have opened support cases for an MX7000 chassis and used the ome_diagnostics module to collect logs from the chassis to a CIFS share using log_type: support_assist_collection
In several cases, Support says the files I uploaded were incomplete and did not include all needed information. I then used the web interface to manually create a log bundle for the chassis using the "locally to device" option and then downloaded the .zip file and Support reports that it contains everything they are looking for.
I'm not sure what is missing. One time it was specifically information about the power supplies, but my most recent case was not related to power. You can refer to case 136411952 if you have access to retrieve examples I uploaded to SupportAssist File Upload that were generated using this Ansible module vs the one that was generated manually.
In this case, the chassis in question was not the Lead chassis, which may also factor into it.

@anupamaloke Was this addressed in 5.3.0 as indicated by the milestone? I didn't see a release note about anything changing for MX7000 chassis logs. I did see the option for DEBUG_LOGS for iDRACs, but this issue is related to the Chassis logs not containing everything support needed, and there is no option to enable/disable debug logs when extracting logs from a chassis
@MallocArray, I believe we had pulled it out of the 5.3.0 as further investigation were needed after discussing with the Dell Support team (based on the SR# that you mentioned above). We will pick this up in future releases (yet to be determined).
BTW, would it be possible for you to see whether you are still facing this issue on latest OME-M firmware version 1.40.00?
