This is touched on in Issue #269 , but breaking out into a separate issue, as the stakeholders have officially voted on two jargon changes. Per this approved proposal.

...we shall change the words we use to refer to:

Proof of Stake "mining" to "voting"

"Stakepools" to "Voting Service Providers" (VSPs)
