Freedom Room #2
Comments
Practically speaking, some things needed:
One final option, is to commission a curator to "encourage" or "curate" this room. This is in the process of being discussed and finalised. |
@chrishobcroft - I think we should use your exact language on the spirit of the Freedom room on the sign outside of the room. Should we add this to the comms writeup? |
Don't ask for permission, seek forgiveness. |
@chrishobcroft we will possibly need to ask someone already working on-site |
I cannot find an online place to print decals - either you guys take over on printing shops such as the one in Modulor Moritzplatz and ask for refund, or this cannot happen. The swag team has too much on their shoulders already. |
I will aim to go to Modulor Moritzplatz this week. Can someone please share with me the official font we use for the event. |
@chrishobcroft - I can also help with printing decal needs as I will need
to do some printing for the nature room as well this week. Let me know how
I can help.

A freedom room is an empty room, devoid of inspiration, no screens, no books, no pictures, nothing.
It is an opportunity for participants to be confronted with an emptiness that encourages inward reflection and discovery of a source of inspiration within themselves.
Participants will be made aware that they can enter the room at their own free will, and are kindly requested to leave the room as they found it.
