Fields Locker is not disabling all fields

With the feature on it is still possible to:

1. add/remove attribute values (changes are sync back to the product in the default language and possibly translations). Variations that used the value become in "unconfigured status" and don't show up in the frontend.
2. change the attribute values for a variation (although this changes are ignored)
3. remove attribute (changes are sync back to the product in the default language and possibly translations)
4. change up-sell and cross-sell ids (changes are sync back to the product in the default language and possibly translations)

Not sure if 1., 3. and 4. are features?!
