Looking at the metadata file I noticed that this role currently don't support Debian stable a.k.a. stretch.
Please support it!

This role definitely works on Debian Stretch, I even have the proof.

Metadata files in the roles are misleading, most of the DebOps roles should work fine on current Stable Debian release.

@drybjed Good to know. Because the lack of stretch support in main.yaml I picked another role from the ansible galaxy. If you want users to stick with your roles (I would like to b/c I use some of them) please take care to keep the metadata up to date. Thanks!

@varac Due to various reasons I recently moved all of the separate role and other git repositories into the DebOps monorepo, now the main development is done there. This of course causes a problem with the DebOps roles published in their separate repositories for consumption via Ansible Galaxy.

At first I wanted to create a set of scripts that would extract various DebOps roles from the monorepo and publish them in their own git repositories on GitHub, so that they would still be accessible through the Galaxy. However, Ansible Galaxy team is working on support for multiple Ansible roles in one GitHub repository which looks very promising. I decided to wait a bit for their results before messing with the role export.

For the meantime, there's not much difference between the DebOps roles in their own repositories and those in the monorepo. At the moment I'm working on documenting the project better and creating a first stable release, bigger changes will probably happen after that.
