Some testing modules are similarly or inconsistently named. We use both *_test and *_tests when defining test modules. This makes test discoverability difficult. We should update naming where possible to align with a single convention.

Implementation suggestions:

  • find and update testing modules to follow a single conventions
  • identify any confusingly named tests and update for discoverability
