notes from "enlightenment" while trying blindly to update it in #45

ah -- apparently some developments on _datalad_buildsupport were done in this repo directly, and never propagated to datalad core. In particular that --cmdsuite option added in ba57510 of #6 and which added dedicated rule update-buildsupport which would update from https://github.com/datalad/datalad-buildsupport which we never updated for the past 2 years ...

some attempted progress on this is in trying to update datalad-buildsupport with changes from core: datalad/datalad-buildsupport#3
