How can I set an extension as a default for all renderings? #5

For example I want to use this extension for every rendering https://pythonhosted.org/Markdown/extensions/attr_list.html. How could I set it up during the initialisation of the project?

There isn't currently an API for this, I'd happily accept a pull request to make this configurable.
