Overview

These guidelines are for testers to evaluate the usability and accessibility of the content converted by this project.

Steps

  • Open each link in your browser on your desktop computer (note: for now, don't use your phone -- mobile testing will be done later)
  • Navigate around the book using the links and controls available on any of the book's pages
  • Answer the questions below

Submitting feedback

For each title above, please tell us about your reading experience. The questions below will guide you.

Describe your setup:

  • What's your OS?
  • What browser are you using?
  • Are you using any assistive technology, e.g. screenreader? If so, please indicate the name and version number.

Please answer the following questions:

  • What book are you reading?
  • Were you able to move to the next chapter (without opening the table of contents)?
  • Were you able to open the table of contents and select a chapter?
  • Could you find the help link?
  • Could you play and pause audio narration? Note: most books have this feature throughout, except for Moby Dick, which has it for only chapters 1 & 2
  • If applicable, could you adjust settings like size and audio playback rate?
  • Do you have any other comments? Please include a link if your comment is about a specific page.
