What do you think are the most important things to do? Please discuss it on the Forum. I have already posted some info of what are the plans. See this topic: https://groups.google.com/d/topic/cef2go/wjyYg9nxVQg/discussion

@cztomczak Happy to see that cef2go is getting some much needed attention.
I'd like to offer my help if you want to offload some issues.

It's great to see some activity in the PHP Desktop and CEF Python projects and its encouraging that CEF2Go is also likely to see some updates. I personally think that CEF2Go should see a quick uptake especially since a significant percent of Desktop app developers like to protect their source code.

If this does become active, it can become a great alternative to go-thrust which is based on the thrust framework.

I added my basic notes to the forum.

I have tried nwjs, go-thrust, electron. They all work, but i prefer cef2go.
I woudl really like this to get an update, and support for win, darwin and linux.
I also think that in the go world there is now good packages for desktop notifications, taskbars, and even packaging. So, i am proposing we try to add these to cef.

I have been using shurcool's package to allow the browser files to be embedded inside the golang binary, which works well too.

Then for updating your app there are many easy to use golang tools for that now too.
So, we could add that too if we want.

@cztomczak Is there anything that i can do to encourage you to start the cef2go update ? :)
The bits i described above i could add for example.
