In tandem with #30295 , we should remove Nuxt 2 Alpha support as it reached EOL June 30th of 2024. see https://v2.nuxt.com/lts/ for more details.

Why is this needed?

This allows us to more easily maintain our npm packages by not having to maintain something that is EOLed
