"Press and hold the power button for 6s to bring up this power off view" didnt work here. Nothing was shown before the 10second shutdown happened.

So I use the shutdown from the debian-desktop. My cutiepi switched off incl. screen, but restarts again after one minute (or 90s?), show the terminal-screen for a second and then stays on only with a black screen. I have to turn it off with a 10s push to the On-button.

I have "CutiePi image - 2022-04-01" running and this is a problem.

I'm observing that the CutiePi tablet can be powered off by one of the following methods:

  • Putting it into sleep mode by pressing the button briefly and releasing; not actually powered off, but is one way to save power

  • Powering off by holding the power button for about 10 seconds; this is a forced power off, which runs the risk of causing O.S., software or data corruption

  • Powering off by opening a terminal window and issuing the command "sudo poweroff"; this is the only known way to gracefully power off the device

  • Powering off by using the Raspbian start menu "Logout" / "Shutdown"

The documentation states the following: "Press and hold the power button for 6s to bring up this power off view."

However, this does not seem to have any effect, after having tried this under a variety of test circumstances.
