Currently the two signs in the new app are tracking the status of the following items.

Via Libservices

• laptop availability (mac & windows) at two locations (Olin & Uris)
• phone charger availability (several varieties) at two locations (Olin & Uris)

Via LibCal

• hours for six consultation desks (Mann)

This will only increase as we continue to roll out additional signs. What do we want to be able to manage from within the app instead of requiring src code modification? Some preliminary ideas include:

• sign types (i.e. oku-circ, mann-consult)
• instances of types (including routing)
• space IDs for LibCal spaces (for hours)

bibIDs for equipment (by location & type) would be managed in the proposed replacement microservice for Libservices
