You could imagine to check for SHA sums of existing files... and when not matching remove them to force a redownload, etc

But also dealing with the resolver files on macOS and dnsmasq configuration of Linux, like #335

I don't know if we want to keep this open or not, this has been partially implemented in master, the rest of the cleanups would be a longer term task though.

Reopening this one to have a trace that packages/group/windows HyperV cleanup is currently missing as we don't have a good way of knowing if we should be doing that cleanup or not.
